Here is a beautiful antique Japanese porcelain demitasse cup and saucer. The cup and saucer are unmarked as to country of origin. The tea cup and saucer are decorated in a moriage slip design of stippling applied to the blue glaze ground. Handpainted in enamel paint are tiny roses and daisies. This set was manufactured for export in the victorian era of the 1890-1910 time period. The demitasse cup measures 2 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter, which includes the handle. The saucer measures 4 inches in diameter. Excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or damage. Beautiful workmanship. Please buy with confidence for this item is returnable.
