Description You are bidding on one Japanese 15mm Mukomachi Nomi Mortise Wood Chisel. AGE: New SIZE: Approximately 8 3/4" long BLADE SIZE: Approximately 15mm wide SIGNATURE: No ITEM DESCRIPTION: These are some of the best chisels in the world. The mukomachi nomi is used to make small mortises or narrow grooves. The blade, which is quite narrow, has a neck teh same thickness as the cutting edge, allowing the tool to cut deep mortises. This one is new and has never been used. It is made by Sakura Nippon. This chisel is for the everyday user or beginner, not of high quality and will make a great starter chisel before investing money in more of the expensive ones. Other than this I don't know much else about this tool. T he white spots are from the camera. The picture doesn't do this tool any justice, much better in person. This item is coming from Japan and may take 7 - 14 days to get to you.
