This is an ORIGINAL WORLD WAR I & II JAPANESE ARISAKA BAYONET & FROG .It is about 20 inches long with a 15 1/2 inch blade. This was for model 1897 (type 30) 1905 (Type39) 1939 (type 99) Arisaka rifle and carbine. It was the main Japanese type of bayonet from 1897 to the end of WWII. It is marked on the ricasso with the arsenal marks of the Tokyo arsenal.The blade is in good to very good condition as is the frog and grips Overall it is in fine to very fine condition. Excellent example of a Japanese Arisaka bayonet.
