WELCOME TO MY AUCTION, GOOD LUCK ON YOUR BIDS! WWII Veteran estate buy. This Japanese Arisaka bayonet was said to recovered from a cave on the island post war while still under U.S. military occupation. It was found with the broken blade as pictured. Both pieces go together nicely. Any type of veteran souvenirs from Iwo are quite rare, as well as the fact no items have been allowed to be removed from the island for many years. Has a Nagoya Arsenal maker mark on blade. Used condition with surface wear, rust pitting, and broken blade. No scabbard. An awesome WWII edged weapon display piece.
