Rare and seldom encountered, this is a very nice example of a Japanese Military Field Phone that dates from the World War II Era. It is constructed of beautiful light colored wood which is very nicely metal trimmed. Inside there is an instruction panel along with the complete phone set. The front door opens to reveal all remaining in very good, clean condition. Overall this item has survived very well with only minimal wear to the wire cording covering. Upon the front there is a very nice Japanese tag. Outside measuring 10 3/4 across by 4 1/4 inches and 7 inches in height.
