This is a nice Japanese Army Saber I beleive Major or Colonel. It has a silver Mun fixed to the top fase of the hilt. The hilt has a wooden grip with wire wrap. The scabbard has plating loss as well as light rust as is evident in the photos.The blade is in good shape with two small rust spots at tip. This sword as well as a bayonet and belt which I have also listed seperatly were just obtained from a vets atic. I beleve this will clean up nicly.
