Old Japanese Black Lacquer and Gilt Playing Card Box - 1930's-40's - the upright covered box divided into two sections to hold 4 decks of playing cards and two small drawers, the exterior painted with seasonal flowers in gilt and red, the tops of the card receptacles with cards representing the four suits in a deck of cards. It's a wonderful old box from a bygone era, when playing cards was one of the main sources of entertainment. It's in good condition as would be commensurate with age and use. It measures approx. 6 1/4" in width; 4 1/2" in height and 3 1/8" in depth. DON'T MISS OUT ! We make every effort to research and describe each item to the best of our ability.
