JAPANESE FUKAGAWA VASE SAMURAI SCENES WITH KOI FISH NR Circa early Meiji period 1860’s to 1870’s. There are 6 character kanji mark on base and 2 character mark inside one cartouche. Vase is signed Hichozan Fukagawa (Made in Arita) by Fukagawa. It has foo dragon handles. The 2 cartouches show samurai scenes and vase also shows koi and carp. Excellent condition. Minor issue to note is a small spider on base. Vase is 18 5/8” tall, 9 ¼” top width, 8 ¼” body width and 5 1/8” base width. , no reserve . v Please be guided by my shipping and payment requirements as well as my return policy outlined below before you bid. Shipping/Handling/Insurance Requirements: v Buyer (domestic and international) pays shipping and handling fees. The shipping cost you will see on your screen is automatically based on your zip code (domestic bidders)/country of origin (international bidders) and that includes my handling fee from as low as $0.50 to $2.00 maximum depending on the size of each piece. The handling fee is to help pay for my packing materials (bubble wraps and peanuts), I do not use newpapers. Insurance and/or delivery confirmation charge is included in the shipping cost as applicable. If actual shipping cost plus handling fee turned out to be less than what was charged by a dollar or more, buyer will be refunded the difference after the item is shipped. v Online calculator is provided for items that are to be shipped by USPS. Depending on the size and type of items, combining together in the same box may not be allowed for better protection. If we decided that items can be combined, buyer is informed with final combined shipping charge. We therefore asked winners of multiple auctions to wait for the combined final invoice before making any payment. For items weighing 4 lbs and higher, I will indicate usps parcel post. However, depending on your zip code if shipping by FedEx ground is cheaper, we will then ship your item by FedEx unless you have P.O. BOX address. For international buyer, I only ship by USPS international Express and I declare the amount you paid for the item including the shipping cost for customs and insurance purposes. Customs duty is responsibility of the buyer and I do not agree to any request to undervalue the total amount you paid. v Item shipping cost is computed automatically based on the address you have on file with Ebay. Please make sure that your address on file with Ebay matches with the address you have on file with Paypal. If they don’t match, I will ship your package to the address stated by Paypal. If there is a big impact on the shipping cost, you will be charged for the difference. If you intend to ship the package to an address that is different from your paypal registered address, please do not bid. v We use bubble wraps and peanuts to cushion each item from posssible mishandling during shipping. If for any reason, the item got broken, please email within 24 hours along with pictures of the broken item, original box inside and outside. Please keep everything intact inside the box as it will be needed during the claim process. We will file the claim for domestic. International buyer will have to file the claim to their local carrier office. Payment Requirements: v Accepts paypal. If you wish to pay by different method please email before bidding. Payment must be received within 3 days from end of auction.
