Japanese handmade practical Iaito 1095 carbon steel katana samurai sword *A-07 Swords Description Specifications: Blade Material: 1095 High Carbon Steel Sharpness: can cut paper, chop bamboo Weight (with Saya): 1.05kg / 2.31 lb Weight (without Saya): 2.28kg / 2.82 lb Saya Material: Hard log wood Handle Material: Genuine Ray skin + Hard wooden Condition: Brand New Katana Specifications Materials And Way Of Forge Blade: The edge is forged from 1095 high carbon steel, with the structure of Maru.We absorbed Japanese traditional techniques, forging blade by fully handmade, with blood groove on each side to reduce edge weight and produce echo. Medium-sized kissaki.The blade is of excellent toughness after elaborately forging by experienced sword smith. It can restore original radian after bending 30 degrees.The blade is polished by skillful grinder master for 10 times to make sure the blade surface bright as mirror and extremely sharp.Full tang blade to do real fight, easy to cut down the diameter of more than 15 cm mats and 5cm new bamboo. Tsuba: The tsuba is made from Zink alloy which is fixed by 2 seppas and the habaki is made up of brass. Tsuka: The handle is made of high quality hardwood, covered with real rayskin and high quality ito, fixed by 2 mekugis and 2 menukis lay on both sides of it. The fuchi and kashira are made from alloy. Saya: It is made from hackberry which has the perfect balance between hardness and softness, good permeability, and it is not easy to deformation. After grinding and painting, the saya is finished. Each kind of our swords can be disassembled to maintain only if you take off the peg from the tsuka. What is more, the sword certificate is included in the package. You can use our swords to practice, battle or as a special ornament.
