Japanese JEE-8-B Field Telephone like WWII US EE-8 Rare! This has got to be one of the rarest items that I have seen. I have collected World War II communications equipment for over thirty years and this is the only one of these that I have ever seen. It comes from my personal collection. This appears to be identical to the World War II United States EE-8 telephone with the exception that it seems to have been made in Japan by OKI. Like the EE-8, it is a local battery magneto telephone with provisions for operation in an operator assisted common battery system. The leather case is in exceptional condition for an item this old and the handset cord appears to be in good condition. Check the photographs to see the condition of this extremely rare telephone.
