Japanese Pokemon Quick Starter Set 1 Opened Box These cards were not released outside of Japan. They are rarely seen for sale. Supply is getting very scarce. Contents: Red Deck (60 cards) Green Deck (60 cards) Green Playmat Rulebook Damage Counters and poison markers 2 Chancy flip coins (one red, one green) Random Series 1 Vending Sheet (with glossy cards) Asobikata Magazine with Promo cards Diglet and Dugtrio This gift box was released in December 1998. All of the cards in the red and green decks are the same as available in the Vending Machine card collection with these major differences: these cards are not glossy these cards do not have rarity symbols these cards contain exclusive non-glossy holofoil versions of Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Scyther and 2 Master Ball Trainers. (Three holofoils per deck of 60 cards.) Purchased at the Tokyo Pokemon Center in September 1999. This box was opened to take pictures. The cards have not been removed from the red and green deck boxes and still have the original ban around the cards.The playmat has not been unfolded. (The last two pictures are from my collection). This is perfect for a collector or someone who plans to sell the individual parts of the box, because you can get it at a bargain price! Please contact me with any question before biding.
