This listing is for this Japanese silk embroidered wall hanging. It depicts a gorgeous river and lush land area with a building and still snowy mountains in the background. This wall hanging is completely embroidered in silk. The silk is metallic and the skill employed definitely shines through to the viewer. Very beautiful decorative piece. This embroidered painting is set in a paper frame from which it can be removed and mounted onto another backing or simply put into a frame. The embroidery itself is 11.5'' x 8" while with the paper backing it is 15" x 12". <> I have quite a few of these Japanese silk embroidered wall hangings all depicting different scenes.
