This is the REAL THING..... a piece of 100% silk shibori from a Japanese kimono. This shibori is textured (one of the ones kimonojunkiez will not let me iron) with a sheer silk underlining tacked to the shibori to keep it from stretching out of shape. The shibori is done with a stunning rust silk with hishisayagata and chrysanthemums. The design is abstract temples and walls. You are bidding on one piece 1-1/8 yds long x 14-1/2" wide. This fabric is all taken from new and used kimonos. I try to state the imperfections as honestly as possible. T will always be holes on the seam lines of the fabric as this was once a kimono. I will combine auctions to reduce postage. HOWEVER, YOU MUST ASK ME FOR AN INVOICE BEFORE PAYING FOR MULTIPLE AUCTIONS. The system does not automatically adjust the postage. The free listing tool.
