Here is a wakizashi koshirae with a saya lacquer decorated with pine needle fragments. There are cracks and chips along the seam and some repair work in the koiguchi area. There is a Heianjo tsuba with brass and copper inlay. The tsuka has old beige wrap over same' with yamagane menuki depicting a pair of dogs running. The shakudo fuchi is slightly arikoshigata shaped and encircled with a silver rope. The kashira is two toned buffalo horn.
