Japanned inlaid mother of pearl floral 9th plate book style double case with clasp closure. These are very rare and especially double cased. In very good condition, working clasp, some slight edge wear on spine. Has "Token" in gold lettering on leather spine. Interior red velvet pads have an embossed tree design. The daguerreotype of the gentleman is very good. He has piercing blue eyes. Muttonchop sideburns and a strange hairdo. He's wearing a jacket, vest and tie. The other daguerreotype of the woman is also very nice and crisp. She is wearing a patterned dress with white collar and cuffs and a shawl. Please feel free to email any questions.
