You are bidding on: * Edmonton Oilers Jari Kurri CCM Authentic Jersey This is a fairly amazing jersey, personalized to Finnish superstar sniper Jari Jurri, #17 Right Wing from the 1980s Dynasty Era Edmonton Oilers, Wayne Gretzky's righthand triggerman. It is clearly vintage mid to late 1980s in manufacture, and in outstanding condition.It is an incredible heavyweight mesh material, complete with double-reinforced elbows and sewn-on Oilers crest and feels exactly like an authentic, on-ice sweater. Nike made the Oilers Dynasty Era jerseys for the team, but never released any for retail sale. As such, this seems like it may be a retail authentic from the mid to late 80s, since CCM made virtually every other team's jersey in the league, including retail authentics. The Nike jerseys were a very unique, heavyweight mesh and the Oilers must have made CCM create this style material for their retail authentics, rather than the AirKnit or Ultrafil styles that most other teams were using.The size is labeled as a Large, but please recall that the Nike team-issued authentic on-ice jerseys were also letter sized, not numbers. This cut is equivalent to a 48 or 52 from the era.The jersey is in excellent condition and has been gently laundered, and then only displayed in my smoke-free, pet-free home since I acquired it a few years back.The numbers read more
