This clock is part of a nice small collection came from the same collector for many years, A nice and rare genuine Victorian antique brass case French carriage clock with hour striking on a gong. Signed James Mcabe Royal Exchange London. RARE STRIKING FRENCH CARRIAGE CLOCK. This clock strikes on a coiled gong each hour , The white enamel dial with signature Jas Mcabe Royal Exchange London and Roman numerals. Brass case with Beveled glass to all sides and folding handle. The size of this clock is 14.5cm high, As can be seen the movement and case has been fully restored to its former glory and working very well,The platform escapement is original to this clock. All the glass is without damage, The white dial is also without damage, All in all a very nice and unusual carriage clock, re-gilded to perfection and fully serviced with Warranted.
