Although this is an unsigned work, with a London artboard label verso, this little gem is attributed to major American painter Jasper Cropsey by a distinguished Ph.D. art history appraiser with 34 years experience in the field who also tells me that Cropsey lived and worked in London for six or eight years and studied the romantic, ethereal style of Turner. Anyway, this piece is sold as a decorative antique oil with great period frame and so a bargain at that! Thanks for looking...Chas.
