This Jazz at the Philharmonic concert took place 1967 at Place des Arts in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In 1967 Norman Granz had a final JATP tour of North America and this was one of the final concerts. I have some very fond memories of this event, as it was the first time I saw Ella Fitzgerald, Coleman Hawkins and Zoot Sims. All the artists pictures are in the program, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Lawrence Brown, Paul Gonsalves, Herbie Jones, Mercer Ellington, Cat Anderson, Oscar Peterson, Louis Hayes, Sam Jones, Coleman Hawkins (autographed) Sam Woodyard, Bob Cranshaw, Jimmy Jones, Benny Carter, Clark Terry (autographed) Zoot Sims (autographed) and Norman Granz. It also has biographical information on Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Oscar Peterson, Coleman Hawkins, Benny Carter, Clark Terry Zoot Sims and Norman Granz. This program is in excellent condition given it's age. The upper right and lower left cover corners are slightly bent from use but this does not lessen its value.
