Selling the second and LAST set of subwoofers. BID ONLY if you can pay. Think it through before bidding. Read carefully, be a smart buyer. Up for bid are TWO JBL JRX 118S 18" subwoofers. The subs have been used 8 times for my son's senior project. He had to produce several live events/fundraiser as a project. The first set was purchased by a pro audio guy. You can see the feedback he left. These subs are in the same fine condition. Someone asked..if they could hear them play. I said I don't have a crossover for them so sending a full-range signal will sound like crap. You don't send vocals, guitars, etc through a sub.It sounds like a muffled mess. Yes-these subs will thump if you set them up properly. They work for DJs, live sound, bands, even home theater systems.Have they been trashed? NO. The subs were part of a JBL PA system that was under the control of a DBX Driverack. Never pushed, reconed, abused. Are they damaged? NO. The subs work PERFECTLY. Will they sound like my favorite club or rock venue? Don't be stupid. Those clubs use subs that cost around $2000 each and they use atleast four subs to get that sound you are talking about. What are these subs good for? The subs will thump nicely for everything from Dance-Trance to Metal. DJ? sure. Home theater? yes! Practice rig? No problem.
