Welcome to my listing for a brand new and factory-sealed Jedi Starfighter & Slave 1 mini lego set from the 2003 Star Wars series. This popular and highly collectable set has now been out of production for several years, and is increasingly hard to find in unopened condition (the plastic "clamshell" packaging has a small dent in one corner, but is otherwise in good condition). It contains 53 pieces and builds small but detailed models of two classic Star Wars spacecraft: the Delta-7 Aethersprite starfighter, flown by Jedi pilots during the Clone Wars, and Jango Fett's Slave 1, a highly-customized pursuit craft that is one of the most feared ships in the galaxy! Fast and nimble, the Delta-7 is designed for Jedi pilots, whose attunement to the Force enables them to compensate for the lack of shields or a heavy sensor package; stripped of these elements, the ship is able to accommodate twin ion engines that provide power and maneuverability previously unavailable in a one-man starfighter. With a Jedi at the controls, the Delta-7 is quick and deadly in combat, unmatched in a dogfight and perfect for daring hit-and-run attacks deep behind enemy lines!
