You're bidding on a vintage Jefferson "Golden Helm" mantel or shelf clock - a nautical-themed variation on Jefferson's Mid-Century classic Golden Hour Mystery clock - so called because the hands seem to turn on their own with no visible gears or mechanics. In fact, the motor drives the glass face of the clock from within the pedestal, which drives the minute hand, which is tightly locked down to the glass. Note that I threaded the new cord through the original grommet to try to keep the appearance as authentic as possible, so there is a little bit of cracking/split on this piece read more
