The 12 pictures clearly show the surface condition .... some surface paint loss and some surface rust tarnish (but NOT structural or advanced) .... and sadly the MOTOR IS MISSING ! The positive qualities are that the actual train is clean, the tinplate surface retains its shine, it is otherwise complete and original and the wheels, axles and articulated joints move freely . It could be a "runner" again if someone out there can find and fit a suitable clockwork motor ..... or maybe convert it to electric ? I have been a toy collector for over 35years and have an extensive O-guage clockwork layout in my loft (Hornby mainly but also other makes). I have restored and repaired many Locos in my time ...but this one I bought many years ago from a little Antiques shop close to where I live - his son once bought it on a holiday in France... I have had it on display but have been as yet unable to find a replacement donor motor in my area of UK in scrap boxes at collectors toy fairs etc .....so ....in my present "clear-out" ...(making room for more recent acquisitions) I have decided to put it up for sale here on eBay .... ! I am a 100% positive feedback eBayer , I take a pride in giving honest descriptions, I pack well in hard boxes with soft internal packing material and post within 48 hours of receiving payment
