This small pitcher was one of many pottery pieces which were part of my late wife's collection of pottery items from the late Jerry Brown of Hamilton, Alabama. We had several occasions to visit his location and talk with him...and of course purchase pottery items. We always smiled as we watched his donkey go in circles as it worked the clay...which Jerry told us was from local clay pits. He also said the markings were done using a chicken feather.Item's base is about 4 inches in diameter. Top from snout to end of handle is about 8 inches, Height is about 5 inches. Weight is about 2 pounds 8 ounces.I tried to give a 360 degree look through the pictures. Please look at them all. Other than normal potter's flaw, the item is clean.Note that some of J.B's works were displayed at the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C.This item is used but looks about exactly as it was when purchased in the 1990's. Thanks for looking.FREE SHIPPING TO U.S.A LOCATIONS. I will use the least expensive shipping service which may be different than listed here. If the prices are close, I sometimes will ship priority mail.
