This is a New Jersey 18 Pence Colonial Note (Fr # NJ-176) dated March 25, 1776 graded Very Fine 25 by PMG. � The front is hand signed with three signatures and a hand written serial number of 5172. � The front reads "THIS Bill of ONE SHILLING and SIX-PENCE Proclamation, is emitted by a Law of the Colony of New-Jersey, passed in the Fourteenth Year of the Reign of his Majesty King George the Third. Dated March 25, 1776." � The leaf printed on the reverse has great detail and "To counterfeit is Death."� is printed above it. � Under the leaf reads "Burlington in NEW-JERSEY, Printed by Isaac Collins, 1776." � What a great chance to own a piece of American history thats 235 years old for such an affordable price!!!
