This is the story of Jessie who as a young girl went into a factory (before the age of 12) and worked until she was too ill to work anymore, dying at seventeen. The book itself is in fairly good condition, the tops of the pages are slightly dusty. The cover, as can be seen in the picture, is good, the front and back blank pages have darkened with age as have some of the story pages in patches. It measures 4.25" by 6" and has 64 pages. It has an inscription in the front but no date. This is one of several items I am listing, if you bid on, and win, more than one item, please wait for invoice before paying, as I will combine the postage.
