TREMENDOUSLY RARE OUT OF PRINT, LIMITED EDITION – ONLY A VERY FEW EVER MADE IN THE 200 GRAM WEIGHT and now OOP forever. THIS IS OOP!! New & sealed, in MINT condition a priceless/ collector’s item…….the definitive version The ultra-classic Aqualung cut from the original analog master tapes and pressed on 200-gram vinyl at RTI. The release features, for the first time since the original Chrysalis release, an authentic linen textured gatefold jacket and original label art. Really, does it get any better? Jethro Tull Aqualung has finally been cut from the original analog master tapes! They were obtained from Ian Anderson directly and Classic Records "all tube" cutting system was employed in mastering this release. This is the first time the original analog master was used since the original Chrysalis release! This version contains an authentic linen textured gatefold jacket and original label art. You will hear musical details and colors not previously revealed on any other version and Mr. Anderson's vocals will literally be in your lap, they are so purely and intimately rendered on Bellman's cut. This will be the definitive version of this incredible album - period!In 2003 this album was ranked number 337 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the all time 500 greatest album Aqualung peaked at #7 on the Billboard Charts.
