Late 1800's-Early 1900's French horse race gambling toy. Two tracks with 8 horses. The box measures 10.5 x 10.5 and stands almost 6 inches. The spring and lever work, with a little lubrication it will really fly! This piece is in really fine shape, it has not been refurbished. This is one of the most ornate of this size that I have seen in my research. The exterior of the box shows the most wear. The green felt is showing some wear and tear around the edges. The paint is surprisingly in good shape. This is an antique and does show some wear. Item is sold AS-IS .
