JAPAN, 100% ORIGINAL HANSATSU of Silver 25 Bu Trade Note issued by NIIYA HAN in IYO no KUNI (EHIME ken - prefecture). Estimate issued in circa 1840s in the EDO Era. EDO SHIHEI lists as No2338. Shows some age and wear, crease, wrinkles, large tear at lower left might have been done by the occicial for dis-use, otherwise still Fine Readable Condition and Appearance. Size is 4.5 x 16.0 cm or about 1.75 x 6.25 inches. Please NOTE that some notes are in Very POOR condition, but they might not exist in Very Fine condition.
