1.45 inch diameter borosilicate compression flower marble. Colors are black, white, gold, orange, aqua. Borosilicate is the same glass from which test tubes and kitchenware is made. The clear glass is chemically neutral and not harmful to the environment. Boro is a hard, tough glass known for it's resistance to temperature swings. These will last a long time. The soft glass marbles from the early 1900's are still traded today - many of them in excellent condition.You are dealing directly with the craftsman. Marbles are unsigned.The photos are no match for holding one in your hand. Most of the imperfections seen in the photos are reflections from the flash or lights or surface dust. Because they are hand made, they are usually slightly out of round and may have a pontil mark usually on the bottom - the point of the last glass rod holding it in the flame.
