A copy of Jim Hardy Comics one shot 1944 United Features The book is an odd one. The book originally had 132 pages for 25 cents. It now has 120 pages having lost some from the first and last series. The first and second remaining pages have tears at the periphery with the remaining pages intact and in nice condition. See pix for sample pages, splashes, and general condition. The book contains 5 complete episodes of Jim Hardy plus the last five pages of another for 40 pages. The second feature, The Triple Terror, has 4 episodes of costumed hero adventures starring Menta, Lectra and Chemix doing their superhero thing in 20 pages. Following that are 4 episodes of Dynamite Dunn with 21 pages of adventures on the island of Utapago. Winding up the book is another costumed hero with the power of invisibility, Mirror Man. I have 6 complete episodes plus a partial for 39 pages. Neat stuff here with some great costumed heroes in a very old book which survived the WWII paper drives. For shipping purpose this book would count as two. I am retired and liquidating a 50-year collection of comics from the 50's and 60's. I collected these books for the joy of reading them, so I have many hundreds of books missing covers or in less than perfect condition. I plan on offering a dozen or so at a time, as they come to hand. Stay tuned for many more offerings
