“Cardinal Rule” Cardinal By Jim Shore This wonderfully regal Cardinal is painted in bright red with Jim shore’s swirl and floral embellishments etched on the wings, tail and crown. Mr. Cardinal has the traditional black masked face and dark grey beak. His wings are in close to his body and his tail is extended upward. He stands on a curvy grey branch that has green metal leaves and Jim Shore ’s swirl and floral design in green, teal, light blue and lavender on the front side. All of this is on a base that is a rectangle of about 3 by 2 by ¾. The top of the base is a dark green; the side top edge is bordered with a purple band, an ivory background then highlights the floral design that includes red and lavender flowers with green leaves and blue swirls. Including the base this figure is just over 6 ½ inches tall. This is a new figurine and comes in the original box with Styrofoam and tags; there are no chips, cracks or flaws on this item although unique variation should be expected with hand painted products.
