Here is a beautiful round porcelain box with lid made by Josef Kuba of Germany. It believe this pattern is commonly called "Love Story" and depicts various scenes of a courting couple from the French Renaissance period. Each panel has the name Fragonard on it. The box is a dark pink or berry type color with gold trim. There is even tiny gold bead dots on the trim surrounding each panel on the lid and also around the lid's edge. The underside of lid and the bottom of dish have the green backstamp of J.K over a W DECOR CARLSBAD and also marked MADE IN GERMANY. It measures about 6 3/8" wide and 2 1/4" high the edge of dish and a little taller to the top of knob. It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks. Gold trim looks very nice as well. It would make a lovely Mother's Day gift for the collector. Shipping/handling includes delivery confirmation in the USA. Insurance will be provided on items that sell for over $20.
