This is a Joan of Arc brand Kidney Beans paper label hand soldered tin that was put out by the Illinois Canning Co, Hoopeston, ILL. The lithographer for the label was Calvert Litho Co., of Detroit Michigan who was one of the top quality litho houses of the late 1890's and early 1900's. The label on this tin is just about as good as it gets for these type and age of paper label tins. It has a top paper label which one hardly ever sees still left on one of these tins.
