Joan Crawford Costume Wig. A dark brown wig created for Crawford, possibly for the low-budget campy thriller, Strait-Jacket. Hand-tied and made from human hair, the wig includes both a storage box re-used by MGM and the original wig stock record card. The cardboard box is labeled: "373 -- Dk. Brown -- (Thin Bang) -- J. Crawford"; the stock card reads "Stock No. 373, Original Player: Joan Crawford, Description: Dk. Brown 6 in. wig."
