This is a really nifty pewter dish from the Little Gallery line of Hallmark. The front has a playful scene of children dancing around a maypole, and was designed by the fun mind of Joan Walsh Anglund, and has her signature at the bottom of the scene. The back has, "1983_Happy memories_are the start_Of happy keepsakes_of the heart." The makers stuff is below. This charming pewter dish is 4 ½" in diameter, and is in great shape, with a couple of the tiniest ticks to the front.(I found one, but I'm saying 2 just in case.) The back has some of the gray patina rubbed off, which shows in the picture as a shiny area along the right side of the inner base. The camera didn't pick it up, but the area invoved is the whole right side, right of the verse (some below w it shows.) This, of course, cannot be seen when displayed. A really fun, and different example of Anglund's work. BEFORE YOU BID, PLEASE READ: Please email me if you have any questions.
