The now-superseded APTIS ticket machine was used in staffed ticket offices across the British railway network from October 1986 for more than 20 years. Pre-printed 'blank' ticket stock - from 1998, often with advertising on the ticket back - was validated by the ticket machine. This job lot features > 230 travel and non-travel tickets, including Capitalcards/Travelcards, Seasons, Parking, Reservations and some OUT/RTN pairs as these are always popular with many collectors. Tickets are mainly issued for travel, and are from Southern Region stations between Waterloo and Dorset. For the avoidance of any doubt, and reflected in the price, there is very considerable duplication of the stations represented - lots of Waterloos and Clapham Junctions! A strong envelope will be used to despatch this item to minimise any possibility of damage in transit. Postage/packing reflects very substantial rises in 2012 - 269p to UK buyers or 449p to overseas buyers.
