A really nice stereo compressor. Has a very nice stereo widening effect on the master. There is a knack to getting the most out of it and I contacted Gearslutz user Beyersound who said the following :- "Glad you liked it on the 2 buss, it is quite a secret weapon isn't it? It is incredibly transparent at that setting unlike other Meeks. People don't rave about it because it is not an SC2 and doesn't cost 2k pounds! It is the most versatile comp in the original "English" Joemeek line. Check it out on a drum or guitar buss, it really excels at that. It is an excellent 2 buss mix compressor using slope #1 with the "dark mode" off. I usually run the attack between 10-12o'clock, and the release between 7-9o'clock. It is an amazing drum buss comp (I would leave the kick out of it) with the "Dark Mode" on, and the slope at #3. You could also get a nice guitar or BV buss comp sound with Dark & slope #2." so now you know
