Joe "Mickey" Medwick Louisville Slugger 1930s-era 125 retail bat, 36” long, crack is repaired professionally. Lightly stamped "Powerized and Oil Tempered" right of the center brand. Multiple nicks (cleat marks?) around the barrel. Great patina and an absolutely beautiful bat. 125 models were H&B's professional-quality bats and are much more desirable to collectors than the 40 models. Furthermore, Mickey Medwick bats are much more rare and desirable than Medwick's later bats branded with his more common nickname, "Ducky." The center brand is circa mid-1930s. This bat could date as early as 1932 and as late as 1937 -- that's when Medwick's bats changed from "Mickey" to "Ducky." Medwick ordered 36" bats after 1934. If you're a Gashouse Gang collector, this is the bat for you! Buyer pays actual Priority Mail shipping and insurance with delivery confirmation. Thanks for looking and good luck!
