JOEMEEK HOOTERSOUND B1 Mic pre, compressor/limiter/gate Designed by Ted Fletcher specifically for recording, broadcasting, commercial production and smaller recording systems, the Hootersound B1 is a fine mic preamp with an unusual but very effective compressor/limiter and noise gate. Input gain. Smoothly controls microphone gain through 4 linked pre amplification stages. Phantom switch (on rear) . This switch enables the 48V phantom power. Ratio control gives continuously variabnle compression ratio from 1:1 up to 8:1 (limit) Release gives variable release time. Mute mutes the whole pre-amp and shows a flashing light. Gate is a gate switch and a gate threshold control together with an LED to show when the gate is active. Output Gain is a rotary control showing output gain level. The LED meter array shows the level immediately before the output gain control. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION Microphone input XLR suitable for all 200 ohm microphones.
