Scarce sculptural bust of classical music composer Johannes Brahms, made by Goebel of West Germany in the 1970's and signed by the artist Bochmann. This vintage bust is cast in a white ceramic bisque with excellent workmanship and detail. It stands 8.5" tall on a 4" square black wood base. The bottom of the sculpture is inscribed "BRAHMS", and the front of the base has a metal plaque reading "Johannes Brahms - 1833-1897". The back of the sculpture is inscribed with the artist's signature "Bochmann". The underside of the base is covered in red felt and has the original gold label with the Goebel bee logo reading "Goebel - W. Germany". This sculptural bust is in very good condition with no noticeable cracks or chips. A real work of art for any collector of Hummel, Goebel or musical composer busts. Place your bid to win it.
