This fantastic newspaper volume covers the months from January through June of 1827. The newspaper was published on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Also included in this volume are many supplements to the dates...one of which is a broadside(printed on the front only with the back being blank). One of the supplements has a congressional debate on slavery right smack on the front! All the published dates are in the volume.Since this is a Washington D.C. publication, t are many 1st reports on national events, including laws, Presidential Proclamations, and acts. Nearly every issue has something on government legislation.
