Hardcover leather Bound with brass edging and clasps. No Jacket. With preface and memoir of the author, by John S Roberts. Undated, c1870. Assumed First thus. Decorative stamped leather bound covers with rubbed gilt, brass edges decorated with leaf design, rubbed gilt decorative spine. Includes many full page colour illustrations. Plain brown endpapers. Minor marks here and there, inner hinge reinforced, fep torn and repaired, but clean and tight in the main. All edges gilt, rubbed. Rare example, especially with the clasps still attached. Very heavy book at over 4kg packed. UK Postage �9, Europe �28 and �49 to the rest of the World. Overseas options include a 'Signed For' or Tracked service.
