My Dad was a saver. Recently, I was going through a box of his old stuff and came across this brochure. It is a 96 page booklet filled with B/W photos and diagrams about the "New" things that John Deere released in 1964. It shows off all the new models (3020, 4020, Row-Crop/Utility, Standard, Compact, Crawler, Specialized, and Lawn/Garden), tillage equipment (plows, tillers, subsoilers, mulchers, harrows, cultivators, multiple-unit hitches, sled carriers), planting equipment (bedder-listers, planters, drills, tillage equipment, fertilizers), cultivating equipment (cultivators, sprayers, hoes), Hay/Forage equipment (mowers, swath fluffers, rakes, balers, one-man haying, windrower, choppers, hay stackers, forage wagons, harvesters, blowers), Harvesting equipment (self-propelled combines, pull-type combines, crop dryers, pickers, strippers, beet harvester/toppers, potato equipment), Barnyard and Maintenance equipment (spreaders, loaders, rotary cutters, flail shredders, hammer mills, shellers, auger wagons, elevators, earthshaping equipment, wagon gears, snow plows). This brochure is the most comprehensive and exhaustive directory of John Deere equipment I have seen (I've been going through a LOT of Dad's stuff!) It has a lot of general information, rather than actual specifications and exact details. Quite an interesting read for a read more
