Here we have a quite superb pair of early 19th century silver sauce ladles of good gauge and weight.Hallmarks are quite good-the year letter is particularly clear. A very special and eye catching pair indeed. Fully marked for London,1803.Each has a maker's mark for John Fountain. These large ladles are in the old english pattern and are simply lovely. This is a lovely pair and a must have. A really delightful and scarce George III pair. Their length is of very good size at 6.5 inches. Each lovely item is of exceptional quality and is a most delightful piece of antique early Georgian table silver. Their combined weight is a very good 85 grams (2.73 troy ounces),each piece is made of very thick gauge silver throughout. The condition of each is very good. Please note that i have listed many other good items of both modern and antique silver, please do have a look-including more teasets, canteens and good individual pots. Each is engraved and always has been, definitely no erasures either. A truly beautiful and most wonderful lot. Would be ideal for the collectors to enhance their collection. Also ideal as a special present. Would doubtless cost an awful lot of money in a good retail outlet today.. PERFECT FOR USE ALL YEAR ROUND,DINE IN REAL STYLE! Collection is more than welcome-i am located near junction 18 of M25 Motorway.Delivery may
