Nos. 55 & 5 respectively also at Paisley, Glasgow, Cat. No. 2 & another posthumously of the same title at the RBA in 1951 Cat. No. 171 John Nicolson was an artist, illustrator and engraver. He was a contemporary of Artist Edmund Blampied and shared a house in South London with him and his wife. **Please note: Buyer collect (free) or the picture can be taken from the frame, rolled and posted in a picture tube. You�ll find us in the beautiful town of Bridport, Dorset in the Art & Antique Quarter on the Saint Michael�s Trading Estate. Originally established as Les All�es with about 20 traders, the business was sold last year to Richard. He has expanded the business, now some 35 traders, renaming it The Alleyways Bridport Antique Centre. The building now has a shop front with a secondary entrance/exit with the interior smartly partioned off so each trader has their own unit. We are by no means alone, there are other shops with their Antiques & Collectables together with an excellent upholsterer, a timber yard, flooring specialist, cabinet makers, craftsmen with workshops, glass supplier, sign maker, large discount furniture store, large electrical retailer and not to forget an excellent caf� and wine merchant plus lots more. We have our own in-house workshop at the rear housing our own wood turner, joiner/carpenter who repairs some of our furniture, refurbishes, renovates and makes tables to order. A bespoke picture framer and furniture maker works alongside our many units offering the widest range of antiques and collectables in Bridport.
