VINTAGE ~ JOHN PRIMBLE ~ INDIA STEEL WORKS BONE ~ ETCHED ~ CONGRESS ~ c.1890 - c.1940 ~ This vintage JOHN PRIMBLE CONGRESS pen knife has iron ribbed bolsters and an iron lining. The handles of this old folding knife are made of a beautiful brown bone and are in great condition with no chips or cracks. The JOHN PRIMBLE CONGRESS pocket knife has one sheepfoot and one pen blade. The blades are in great condition with some pitting and scratches, but appear to be nearly 100% full. The main sheepfoot blade is stamped JOHN PRIMBLE INDIA STEEL WORKS. The main blade is also etched ENGLISH STEEL INDIA PRIMBLE STEEL WKS HAND FORGED. The pen blade is stamped JOHN PRIMBLE ISW. Both half stop blades still have a good snap.
