This auction is for Bombs Away by John Steinbeck. Published in 1942 by The Viking Press. The dust jacket is present but has a tear on the back and has a protective plastic sleeve over it and the top corners are bumped. The previous owner, who was a bombardier, 308th bomb group, 375th squadron U.S army Air Force, outlined in ink and pencil on the half title page a chronology of his service in WW2. There are even a few negatives from photos of him in an envelope inside.
