Hi! Up for auction is R. John Wright Lavender Fairy from the Flower Fairies Series with box and COA. She measures approximately 12" high, her COA has #197/250 made in May 2, 2011. The Flower Series were based on drawings in the books by artist Cicely Mary Barker born in South London in 1895. The Lavender Fairy from Flower of the Garden is fully jointed and made of the finest all-wool felt. She has hand painted features, a wig of the finest mohair, and silk wings. She is in wonderful and clean condition, stored in curion for display, her box is in great conditon and also includes the white sleeve. She will make a great addition to your collection.
