Johnny Thunders signed by artist vintage punk 80s shirt size L, new condition.LA punk rock promoter Gary Tovar created GOLDENVOICE productions. Goldenvoice was responsible for putting on LAs most radical and influential punk rock shows, bringing in bands from around the world to perform in the infamous Olympic Auditorium, Perkins Palace, The Santa Monica Civic, and Fenders Ball Room just to name a few. In the early to late 80s Gary had t-shirts printed to highlites these shows and promote these early events. Otis and Biscuits (Bad Otis Link and Chuck Biscuits) worked with gary to design and produce these very limited edition t-shirts, at the most 500 per event, and thats on the high side. These shirts sold for $5-$7.00 at the shows. Although some of these designs have been copied over the years, these are the real deal. this is one of around 300 mixed designs that were just released from Garys storage, stored since 1990, this is all that is left over from the early punk shows in LA. Also included in this inventory are some original band shirts that were sent to gary as promo material in hopes of getting a show. This collection will be sold per unit so please dont ask about bulk orders. Please Note: These shirts were printed by punk rockers in the early punk tradition, dont expect modern hi tech print quality. For the serious collector. read more
